CHEAPART 1995-2017
Cheapart was first introduced in 1995 as a trading model among artists, a cultural get together for exchanging artwork. Artists and co-founders Georg Georgakopoulos and Dimitri Georgakopoulos then introduced the new financial model of CHEAPART within CHEAPARTgallery located in the Athens.
CHEAPART is a non-profit, cultural organization. Its aim is to present contemporary art to a wider public by collaborating with artists, curators and institutions.
CHEAPART's immediate objective is to collaborate and organize exhibitions that involve experimentation and research for the art audience by unlocking pure artistic expression while setting aside financial commitments.
