The house of Saridakis established in 1869, reproduces authentic furniture from all styles and periods, but is most famous for contemporary recreations of classical ancient Greek furniture designs
We collaborated to produce the Klismos line of furniture, bringing classical forms into the mainstream of contemporary design. We reproduced accurately the forms of ancient furniture using local walnut, leather and bronze fitting according to the materials and methods used by Greek artisans thousands of year earlier
