My professional engagement with jewellery design started during my graduate years, comprises all aspects of design, making, exhibiting, teaching and retail, and spans two decades.
As a young student I worked at the Art Workshop of Nikos Nafpliotis, a jewellery designer and maker gaining first hand experience of artistic and creative work at a professional setting.
After establishing my first workshop in Athens (1989) I combined professional creative work with the teaching and demonstrating of jewellery making techniques in seminars run under the auspices of the Athens Municipality Workshop and various professional and other organisations. Throughout the 1990s I designed jewellery for several companies and became a shareholder of Palladium Fashion Jewels, a very successful company in the Greek jewellery market. In 2003 I opened a new workshop in Marousi, Athens, and since 2007 I exhibit the full range of my design in my own showroom.
Selling points of my jewellery are my own workshop and showroom, my website, trade shows and many retail shops in Greece as well as abroad. My pieces are also available in the following museums and galleries, Museum of Cycladic Art (Athens), Benaki Museum Foundation of the Hellenic World, (Athens), B&M Theoharakis Foundation of Arts, (Athens), Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art, (Thessaloniki) and Onassis Foundation, (New York).
All jewellery are made according to the regulations set by the Chamber of Industry regarding handmade jewellery and alloy metals, and bear the certificate of quality awarded by the Greek Centre of Silver & Goldsmith and the The Hellenic Organization of Crafts (EOMMEX).
