Ιδρύθηκε το 1991 από γονείς που είτε το παιδί τους σώθηκε, είτε το παιδί τους χάθηκε και απο τον παιδίατρο της Μονάδας Εντατικής Θεραπείας του Νοσοκομείου Παίδων Π. & Α. Κυριακού.
Συντηρείται αποκλειστικά από δωρεές εταιρειών, ιδιωτών και δωρεές εις μνήμην.

PNOE – Friends of Children in Intensive Care is a non-profit organization. It was founded in 1991 by parents who had either lost a child or whose child was saved and by the director of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit of the Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital, Athens.
It is supported entirely by contributions from individuals, companies and donations in memoriam.
