ΣΥΛΛΟΓΟΣ ΙΜΒΡΙΩΝ - IMVRIAN ASSOCIATION
Ο Σύλλογος Ιμβρίων ιδρύθηκε το 1945 στην Αθήνα. Με έδρα σήμερα τη Νέα Σμύρνη Αττικής στο ιδιόκτητο κτήριό του (Ελ. Βενιζέλου 80, 171 22 Ν. Σμύρνη, Τηλ.: 210 9347957, Φαξ: 210 9345096, www.imvrosisland.org), κατέχει ηγετικό ρόλο στην προσπάθεια διατήρησης και ανάδειξης της ιμβριακής πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς και της αποκατάστασης των δικαιωμάτων των Ιμβρίων στην πατρίδα τους. Η ιμβριακή κοινότητα της Αττικής αριθμεί σήμερα τα περισσότερα μέλη παγκοσμίως και, μαζί με τους Ιμβρίους της Θεσσαλονίκης, αποτελεί το βασικό σημείο αφετηρίας και αρωγής των Ιμβρίων που επανεγκαθίστανται στις πατρογονικές τους εστίες την τελευταία εικοσαετία.

Imvrian Association was founded in 1945 in Athens. From its privately owned building in Nea Smyrni (80, El. Venizelou Str., GR 171 22 N. Smyrni, Attica, Greece - Tel.: +30 210 9347957 - Fax +30 210 9345096 - www.imvrosisland.org), it plays a key role in the efforts for the preservation and promotion of imvrian cultural identity and the restitution of the rights of Imvrian people in its homeland. The Imvrian community of Attica is the largest in the world and, together with the Imvrians of Thessaloniki, constitutes the main point of departure and support of those who re-establish themselves in their ancestral homes during the last two decades.
