The Nikolas Taverna has been operating in Mykonos, in “Agia Anna – Paraga” beach, since 1967. It is a family restaurant, which firstly opened by Nikolas Dahtilidis and his wife Katerina, with much passion and desire for quality homemade food. The tradition of fine cuisine and high quality customer service was continued by their daughter Anna Nazos, which in turn was handed to her son Nikolas, along with all the knowledge of excellent quality service. The concept of the tavern has remained unchanged over the 3 births, and reflects the traditional Greek cuisine, which has been recognized as a tasteful kitchen of high nutritional value. Daily, from early in the morning, Nikolas Taverna is open, serving coffee and breakfast to loyal customers and not only. By that time, in the kitchen the preparation of the specialties of the day has already begun.

Daily from 12.00 in the noon, you can taste the freshly prepared traditional dishes such as stuffed vegetables, lazania, fresh beans, macaroni pie, braised beef, traditional mousaka, the famous Mykonos onion pie, and many more, depending on the chef. Moreover, at the adjacent storefront you can find cold salads and appetizers, which you can choose, and enjoy their taste in just a few minutes. All vegetables are fresh cut from the family estate, which is placed in Skalado in Mykonos.

For meat lovers, there are all kinds of meats, which are baked on grill by the master in cooking on grill Kostandis, Nikolas’ father. All the meat that are served in the tavern are from local producers. Moreover, Nazos’ family has its own flocks of animals, which are used as raw material in the taverna.

Of course, in a seaside taverna, the seafood could not be absent. Nikolas will show you the fish he fished the previous night, and will indicate you the best cooking method for each species, as he has a vast knowledge in seafood. Also, if you’re lucky, you can taste the unique fish soup.
