Στον Ambelona, o επισκέπτης μπορεί να δει τα παραδοσιακά εργαλεία παραγωγής ελαιολάδου και κρασιού, μαζί με βίντεο με την παραδοασιακή παραγωγική διαδικασία. Να γευτεί τοπικά παραδοσιακά φαγητά συνδυασμένα με τα τοπικά προϊόντα μας ACORDO, συνοδευόμενα με τα κρασιά του αμπελώνα, να πιει καφέ στην χόβολη ή ένα αφέψημα από μυριστικά και βότανα του κτήματος με ένα γλυκό του κουταλιού.

Εργαστήρια συλλογής και μαγειρικής με πάνω από 40 είδη άγρια χόρτα και μυρωδικά του κτήματος.

Εργαστήρια Φυσικής παραδοσιακής συντήρηση τροφών – (με λάδι, ξίδι, μέλι, ζάχαρη, πετιμέζι, κρασί, λεμόνι, βότανα - μπαχαρικά, κάπνισμα)

Στο χώρο λειτουργεί κατάστημα πώλησης επιλεγμένων τοπικών ποιοτικών προϊόντων και των προϊόντων μας ACORDO.

Ο χώρος διατίθεται και για ιδιωτικές εκδηλώσεις ( πάρτυ, γεύματα, γάμους, βαπτίσεις, κ.α.).

Ambelonas Corfu combines history, culture with home-cooked food and local, fresh and seasonal products.

Ambelonas Corfu is a multi-purpose establishment between the villages of Kombitsi and Karoumpatika, six kilometers from Corfu Town on the provincial road to Pelekas on a hill with natural wild vegetation and panoramic views of the Central Corfu. Ambelonas is the Greek work for "VINEYARD". Alongside the vineyard a simple and adaptable space which follows all the elements of traditional local architecture, within an estate where respective activities existed for more than 400 years has been created.

All meals are prepared by traditional processes and are accompanied by authentic wines made with Ambelonas’ grapes from the two traditional Corfiot varieties - “Skopelitiko” for red and “Kakotrigis” for white -both produced by the traditional way and aged in oak barrels.

It aims to highlight local culture through a museum-like exhibition which showcases traditional equipment and machinery from the pre-industrial age that were used to produce olive oil and wine. An engaging video presentation unravels these old traditions and takes you back to a time when everything was – and will always remain – natural in this little corner of Corfu.

Mrs. Vasiliki Karounou, Ambelonas' owner and manager, convinced that an authentic traditional wine needs to be combined with authentic foods, undertook a search of forgotten flavours, explored historical sources and by experimenting with local ingredients has resulted and published a cookbook with traditional local recipes that brings back the cooking secrets and flavors of previous generations on the island and served at Ambelonas’ restaurant.

In the premises there is a little shop with selected local products - Ambelonas’ house wine and homemade Acordo products - that have acquired several distinctions, combining a gastronomical alchemy of old forgotten recipes of Corfu and healthy eating trends.
